Falcons' Kyle Pitts (knee) 'felt good' after early training camp practices
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts (knee) said he felt "pretty good" after the team's first few training camp practices this summer.
Pitts said he is "pretty close" to being 100% healthy after last season's tough knee injury, and it looks like the talented tight end will be cleared with plenty of time to spare before Week 1. He'll vie for targets with wide receiver Drake London in Atlanta's run-first offense.
Pitts offers tantalizing upside based on his own skillset, but has been limited by Atlanta's scheme through his first two seasons. While he reached 1,000 receiving yards as a rookie, he averaged just 35.6 yards per game in 2022. He is projected to finish as the TE5 in numberFire's models for this season, though, and has all the tools to become an elite fantasy tight end.
