Giants' Saquon Barkley (ankle) not expected to play in Week 5
The New York Giants are not expected to have running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) available for their Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins.
The star rusher was able to put in some limited work in practices during the week for New York, but it seems as though he will still need at least one more week of recovery before he can rejoin his team on the field. If Barkley does miss the game, expect the Giants to continue using Matt Breida as the lead back with Gary Brightwell mixing in for touches.
Breida has a $6,300 salary on FanDuel and is projected for 4.7 fantasy points against the Dolphins, while Brightwell has a $5,300 salary and is projected for 2.6 points. Both backs are likely to need to score a touchdown to put up meaningful fantasy points.
