Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (knee) is listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report for Thursday's Week 7 game against the New Orleans Saints.
What It Means:
Lawrence is dealing with a knee “sprain” that “is not a significant thing,” according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. He was able to finish out the game on Sunday, but Lawrence is uncertain for Thursday night's matchup in New Orleans. C.J. Beathard will step in as the starter if Lawrence is unavailable, which would be bad news for every receiver and tight end on offense.
Among the 32 quarterbacks with at least 100 attempts this season, Lawrence is 16th in Passing Net Expected Points per attempt (0.00).
