Saquon Barkley (ankle) cleared for Giants Week 7
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Week 7 against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
Barkley was limited in practice this week, but he's good to go for Sunday's divisional matchup. The all-everything back returned from a three-game absence in Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills and ran 24 times for 93 yards. He also caught 4 passes on 5 targets for 4 yards. Expect another inefficient, volume-heavy outing on Sunday versus the Commanders.
Saquon is the RB5 in numberFire's Week 7 PPR rankings and our models project him for 14.7 FanDuel points, with 18.3 carries, 77.7 rushing yards, 3.2 receptions, and 17.8 receiving yards. The Commanders are No. 14 in FanDuel points allowed per game to running backs, but their run defense is only No. 26 in our opponent-adjusted NEP model.
