Saints' Juwan Johnson (calf) trending toward returning Week 8
New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson (calf) was limited again at Thursday's practice for Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Johnson has turned in back-to-back limited sessions and seems to be trending toward returning from a four-game absence. Taysom Hill (chest), who played 57-59 percent of the offensive snaps and racked up 13 targets for 11 catches and 99 yard the past two games, will likely be less involved on offense if Johnson is cleared.
Johnson ($4,500) is the TE19 in numberFire's Week 8 PPR rankings and our models project him for 5.3 FanDuel points, with 4.1 targets, 2.6 receptions, and 28.1 yards. The Colts are ranked 19th in FanDuel points allowed per game to tight ends this season and their pass defense is 19th in our adjusted NEP rankings.
