Will Levis expected to start again Week 9 for Titans
Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis is expected to start again in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday, reports Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Levis made his NFL debut on Sunday and completed 19 of 29 passes for 238 yards, 4 touchdowns, and zero interceptions in a 28-23 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Ryan Tannehill (ankle) is likely going to be ruled out again, so Levis should make another start on Thursday in Pittsburgh. If he shines again on the road in an island game, the Titans could stick with Levis as the starter once Tannehill returns.
Levis scored 26.6 FanDuel points in Week 8 and averaged 0.25 Passing Net Expected points per attempt. For reference, Tannehill is averaging negative-0.03 Passing NEP on 158 attempts this season. DeAndre Hopkins and Chig Okonkwo led the Titans with 6 targets each in Week 8.
