FanDuel Fantasy Points Per Game More DFS

Raheem Mostert (ankle) returns to Dolphins practice Thursday

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert (ankle) returned to practice on Thursday for Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

What It Means:

Mostert took a breather on Wednesday, but his return indicates he should be good to go for Sunday's showdown in Frankfurt, Germany. Mostert rushed 13 times for 46 yards and a touchdown last week. He had more than twice as many carries as Jeff Wilson (5), but Mostert didn't draw a target for the first time this season and Wilson was targeted twice. Mostert will be the Dolphins' lead back again in Week 9, but Wilson's role could continue to grow.

Mostert is the RB6 in numberFire's Week 9 PPR rankings and our models project him for 14.3 FanDuel points, with 15.1 carries, 74.9 rushing yards, 2.7 receptions, and 19.7 receiving yards. The Chiefs are allowing the eighth-fewest FanDuel points per game to running backs this season, but their run defense ranks just 25th in numberFire's opponent-adjusted NEP model.
