Marvin Mims (ankle) upgraded to full practice participant for Broncos Friday
Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims (ankle) was upgraded to a full participant in Thursday's practice ahead of the team's Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Mims was limited by an ankle injury in the Broncos' first practice of the week but has already been upgraded to being a full participant. He should be good to go against the Vikings this weekend and could possibly see a bump in targets if Jerry Jeudy (hip) is sidelined. The rookie reached a career-high snap rate in Week 10, but only drew 1 target in the victory.
Mims played well enough to earn AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors by returning 2 punts for 44 yards and a kickoff for 31 yards, but finished Week 10 with negative fantasy points after failing to make up ground on a botched end around. The exciting rookie is a breakout candidate waiting to happen, but may need to wait until 2024.
