Patriots pull Mac Jones from Week 12 game; Bailey Zappe taking over for second half
The New England Patriots have benched quarterback Mac Jones after a brutal first half in their Week 12 game against the New York Giants.
Jones got the start for the Patriots in Week 12 after a confusing week of practices, but threw a pair of brutal interceptions and lost a fumble just before halftime. The Pats will give Zappe a shot as they kick off the second half.
Jones was miserable in the first half, finishing with 89 yards and 2 interceptions while completing 12 of 21 attempts.
