Dallas Goedert (forearm) expects to play for Eagles Sunday in Dallas
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) indicated he will play in Week 14 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.
“Dallas in Dallas has a ring to it,” Goedert told the media after practicing on Wednesday. It was his second practice since Goedert injured his forearm in Week 9. DeVonta Smith is averaging 6.7 targets per game with Goedert and 9.0 without him, so he could take a hit moving forward. The 28-year-old tight end totaled 47 targets in his last seven healthy games, including 7 looks in the red zone.
Goedert is averaging 8.0 FanDuel points per game this season, with 5.8 targets, 4.2 receptions, and 45.6 yards. The Cowboys have the third-best pass defense in the NFL, according to numberFire's opponent-adjusted efficiency rankings, but they only rank 16th in FanDuel points allowed per game to tight ends.
