Eagles' Jalen Hurts (illness) downgraded to questionable to play Monday in Week 15
The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly downgrading Jalen Hurts (illness) to questionable to play in their Week 15 game against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday night.
Not long after saying Hurts would be able to play through his illness, a source close to the team told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Hurts' sickness worsened overnight, putting the star's status for Monday night in jeopardy. He is reportedly arranging for separate travel to the game to avoid getting his teammates sick and is now genuinely questionable to play. If he can't go, Marcus Mariota would be expected to fill in.
Mariota would likely be a pretty significant downgrade from Hurts for the Eagles and their fantasy-relevant skill position players, like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert. Fantasy managers will need to have backup plans in place in case Hurts cannot suit up on Monday night.
