Eagles pull Jalen Hurts (finger) from Week 18 game; Marcus Mariota to take over at quarterback
The Philadelphia Eagles removed quarterback Jalen Hurts (finger) from their Week 18 game against the New York Giants.
Hurts suffered a finger injury earlier in the game and was able to play through it, but the Eagles fell signficantly behind the Giants in the first half. With A.J. Brown also suffering an injury in the same game, the team appears to be playing it safe with Hurts as they prepare to limp into the playoffs. Marcus Mariota will finish the game for Philadelphia.
Hurts was not on point in this one, completing just 7 of his 16 attempts for 55 yards and an interception. The Giants amassed a 24-0 lead in the first half.
