Free agent Roddy White still plans to play in 2016
Free agent wide receiver Roddy White still plans to play this season.
White wants to sign with a contender, but is running out of time and options as depth charts solidify. He suggested ex-offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan played a role in his 2015 struggles with the Atlanta Falcons. White shouldn’t get more than a minimum deal.
White -- who will be entering his age-35 season this fall -- struggled in 2015, catching 43 passes for 503 yards and one score. Among the 74 wideouts to see at least 60 targets last year, White ranked 54th in Reception Net Expected Points per target.
