DeVante Parker (hamstring) disappointing Dolphins' staff with health

Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker (hamstring) needs to do "the little things" off the field to stay healthy, head coach Adam Gase said.

What It Means:

Parker tweaked his left hamstring in Monday's practice after missing several weeks of camp with a similar injury. "I feel like I’ve been through this with Demaryius [Thomas] in Denver," Gase said. "Eventually ... he will know how to push through certain kinds of pain." Gase is clearly frustrated with Parker, who has even fallen behind Kenny Stills on the depth chart.

Parker had a very promising rookie campaign in 2015; among the 86 wide receivers to see 50-plus targets, he ranked fourth in Reception Net Expected Points per target. Our models have him pegged as the 31st receiver heading into the season, currently projecting him to bring in 52 catches for 894 yards and 6.88 touchdowns on the year.
