Hakeem Nicks making impact at Titans training camp
According to Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt, Hakeem Nicks has been "making plays on a regular basis and stood out" during Titans training camp.
Hakeem Nicks is currently slotted as the number two wide receiver on the Titans depth chart. He will be competing with Justin Hunter, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Harry Douglas for the starting wide receiver spot opposite Kendall Wright. Nicks posted 38 receptions, 405 receiving yards, and four touchdowns with the Colts last season.
Nicks ranked in the bottom-10, among all wide receivers with at least 50 targets, with a 0.45 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) per target in Indianapolis last season. The Titans ranked a disappointing 29th in our schedule-adjusted Passing NEP metric last season. Our algorithms predict Nicks to finish the year with an unimpressive 31 receptions, 323 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown.
