Titans bench Kendall Wright in Week 14 for missing meetings
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright was benched in Week 14 against the Denver Broncos due to tardiness and missed meetings.
Despite his non-flashy playing style, Wright has always had a bit of a diva streak in him, often clashing with coaching staffs and now getting benched for irresponsibility. The Titans will move forward with Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe as their top two receivers. Wright figures to be replaced by Harry Douglas in the slot.
Among the 101 wide receivers with at least 30 targets going into this week, Wright's 0.92 Reception Net Expected Points per target ranks fourth.
