Cardinals reportedly land Sam Bradford with 1-year, $20 million deal
The Arizona Cardinals agreed to terms with quarterback Sam Bradford, formerly of the Minnesota Vikings, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The deal is worth $20 million for one season and includes $15 million guaranteed. Bradford lit the world on fire against the New Orleans Saints in the first game of the season last year in what was probably his greatest game as a professional. After that, the former first overall pick was plagued by injuries and only managed to play two more quarters of football all year. Barring any setbacks with his knee this offseason, Bradford will replace Carson Palmer as the Cardinals' starting quarterback in 2018.
Bradford scored 25.5 FanDuel points in the only full game he played last season, completing 27-of-32 passes for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns in what was probably the best game he's played in the NFL.
