Redskins acquire quarterback Kevin Hogan in trade with Browns
The Washington Redskins acquired quarterback Kevin Hogan in a one-player trade with the Cleveland Browns on Friday.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the trade involves the exchange of the two teams' sixth-round picks. While the Browns obtain the 188th overall pick, the Redskins will take on the 205th overall pick, which Cleveland acquired via trade with the New England Patriots. Hogan will serve as a backup to Alex Smith in Washington.
In 2017, Hogan made 4 appearances and 1 start for Cleveland. He threw for 517 yards, 4 touchdowns and 5 interceptions on 75 attempts.
