Andrew Ladd agrees to seven-year deal with Islanders

Winger Andrew Ladd and the New York Islanders have come to terms on a seven-year, $38.5 million deal.

What It Means:

Ladd was sent from the Winnipeg Jets to the Chicago Blackhawks on trade deadline day this past season, and he will now squad up next to John Tavares on a line for the Islanders.

Ladd totaled 25 goals and 21 assists across the entirety of his 2015-2016 campaign. He owned a career-worst 51.4 Corsi For Percentage to go with a 0.4 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, which was his worst clip since the 2009-'10 season.
