Madison Bumgarner, P, San Francisco Giants

Madison Bumgarner is our second-ranked arm, and for the first time in a while, he may not dominate ownership. The slate is loaded with good pitchers, Bumgarner allowed four runs in five innings in his last start, and he is taking on the red-hot Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Dodgers are coming off an 18-run outburst in a win over the Cincinnati Reds, and Los Angeles' .353 wOBA over the last 30 days is tops in the game.

Bumgarner is still Bumgarner, though. He's sporting a 3.41 SIERA with a 27.7% strikeout rate and 6.5% walk rate. Dodger Stadium checks in 27th in park factor, and the Dodgers' 3.48 implied total is the day's second-lowest clip.

With Kenta Maeda, Danny Salazar, Chris Archer and Arrieta on the docket, the pitching options are pretty stout. Still, even in a tough matchup, Bumgarner is mighty appealing.
