The Baltimore Orioles have a solid 5.31 implied total (Monday's third-highest mark) as they host the Texas Rangers and righty Andrew Cashner.

Cashner has not been pitching well this season, owning what is by far a career-worst 5.70 SIERA to go with an 11.6% strikeout rate and 10.4% walk rate. This comes on the back of a 2016 campaign that saw him post what was at the time a career-worst 4.72 SIERA.

It has not really been reflected in his production so far, but Manny Machado has actually been hitting the ball really well this season. He boasts a career-high 39.6% hard-hit rate and ranks 10th in average exit velocity (minimum 30 batted balls).

But his batting average on balls in play (BABIP) sits at only .242 -- which is a career-low clip and a significant dropoff from both his .302 career BABIP and the .309 he posted in 2016. We can expect an increase in production moving forward.
