Chris Davis, 1B, Baltimore Orioles

Chris Davis isn't producing nearly the way Alvarez has been for the Orioles, and Davis is actually on pace for a career-worst season from the dish. There's still some room for optimism, though.

He has some pretty extreme platoon splits over his career -- with a .362 wOBA against righties and a .312 wOBA versus southpaws -- and he has made only 84 plate appearances against righties so far. He's not especially old at 32, and he's coming off a 2017 campaign that saw him crack righties for a 45.1% hard-hit rate, 9.8% soft-hit rate and 42.1% fly-ball rate, which translated to a .251 ISO.

Davis still offers a low floor in any matchup, even a matchup as good as this one against Barria, but his power makes him appealing.
