Logan Morrison, 1B, Minnesota Twins

Price: $2,500

Logan Morrison has opened 2018 with a .183 batting average on balls in play (BABIP). His previous career-low mark was .238. He posted a .268 BABIP last year, and his career average sits at .270. He's sporting a career-best 38.7% hard-hit rate in 2018, and even with his high 21.0% soft-hit rate, a BABIP as low as .183 is not sustainable. We should see his production climb as we move forward, and that's not reflected in his price tag.

He's especially good against right-handed pitchers, putting up a 38.9% hard-hit rate in the split in 2018 after turning a 40.4% hard-hit rate into a .374 wOBA and .298 isolated slugging (ISO) in 2017. That should mean big things against Chicago's Reynaldo Lopez.

Lopez has a 5.01 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) over five games this season, and that brings his career SIERA to 4.94 in his first three Major League seasons. He has a career 5.46 xFIP against left-handed bats, and Morrison has big upside here.
