Nolan Arenado, 3B, Colorado Rockies

Nolan Arenado has been having one of his most productive seasons so far in 2018. His .416 wOBA is on pace to be a career-high while his isolated slugging (ISO) sits at .250, a top-20 number.

Those numbers mean that, as has been the case for years now, he's worth a long, hard look when he's hitting at Coors Field against a southpaw.

Since the start of the 2016 season, Arenado has crushed lefties for a 39.7% hard-hit and 45.7% fly-ball rate. Taking away the Coors factor and looking at his road splits, that contact has translated into a still-excellent .421 wOBA and .275 ISO. At home, the production gets really absurd though, with a .493 wOBA and .374 ISO in 213 plate appearances.

San Francisco Giants' lefty Derek Holland is allowing a 39.6% hard-hit and 46.4% fly-ball rate in 2018, after giving up 38.4% hard-hit and 40.5% fly-ball rates last year. Batted-ball figures like that going into the thin air of Denver means he's got a good shot of getting lit up with home runs tonight.
