Giancarlo Stanton, OF, New York Yankees

Even in what has been a bit of a down year from the dish by his standards, Giancarlo Stanton is showing a ton of power, with a .237 ISO on a 43.3% hard-hit rate.

If we just look at his work against southpaws, the production is elite, as he's turning in an absurd .479 wOBA and .429 ISO. If we go back to include 2017, raising our sample size to 252 plate appearances, he maintains an outstanding .479 wOBA and .436 ISO against lefties.

Atlanta Braves southpaw Sean Newcomb has a great 2.71 ERA this season, but that is paired with a much weaker 4.19 SIERA, which brings his average to 4.47 over two Major League seasons. That's nowhere near strong enough to scare you off of Stanton in this spot.
