Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Edwin Encarnacion, Paul Goldschmidt, Miguel Cabrera, and Jose Abreu figure to hog most of the ownership among first basemen today, leaving Albert Pujols overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

After an ice-cold start at the plate, Pujols has turned things around over the past month. Since May 12th, the first baseman is hitting .283 with a .361 wOBA and .478 slugging percentage, up from his .185, .264, and .347 marks prior to that.

Pujols will look to keep improving in tonight's matchup against Ricky Nolasco. Nolasco hasn't had an ERA below 5.15 in three straight seasons now, and he has struggled to put away Pujols in the past, allowing the slugger to hit .464/.448/.964 in 28 career at-bats.

Pujols has hit better against lefties in his career, but his numbers against righties aren't far behind. He should have no problem in tonight's showdown with Nolasco, and he is a good way to get exposure to Los Angeles' 4.5 implied run total, the fifth-highest on the slate.
