FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Friday 6/28/19
We jump back up to 14 games on Friday's slate, though it's not as ripe with pitching as one might expect. On the other hand, there's no shortage of offense, with Coors Field once again in play, in addition to teams like the Brewers, Nationals, and Angels
Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.
On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Jacob deGrom ($11,200 on FanDuel): There's little doubt that Jacob deGrom is the most talented hurler on the board, and that's certainly reflected in his high price tag. The only problem is his mediocre matchup against the Braves, whose active roster holds an intimidating 112 wRC+ against right-handers with a 21.5% strikeout rate. Still, deGrom owns an excellent 3.29 SIERA, 30.6% strikeout rate, and 5.1% walk rate, and he handled this same team just fine a couple starts ago (59 FanDuel points). Atlanta draws a modest 3.49 implied total, and deGrom is the most trustworthy arm on a fairly shallow pitching night.
