Kyle Seager (hand surgery) ruled out for Mariners until June
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager is expected to be out 10-12 weeks after undergoing surgery to repair a tendon in his left hand.
Seager was previously expected to return in May, but the Mariners may be without their starting third baseman until mid-June. The 31-year-old has never been on the injured list before. Ryon Healy has been shifted to the hot corner to fill the void.
Prior to this update, numberFire's models expected Seager to bat .240 with 19 home runs, 63 RBI, 55 runs scored, and 2 steals this season.
