Phillies place David Robertson (elbow) on IL
The Philadelphia Phillies have placed relief pitcher David Robertson on the 10-day injured list with right elbow soreness.
What It Means:
He will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, which could give us a timetable for his recovery. Pat Neshek, Hector Neris, and Jose Alvarez all stand to see late-inning work in Robertson's absence.
Robertson has 6 walks and 6 strikeouts with a 5.40 ERA in 6 2/3 innings this season.
