Shin-Soo Choo sitting for Rangers in Thursday's finale
Texas Rangers left fielder/designated hitter Shin-Soo Choo is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Homer Bailey and the Kansas City Royals.
Choo hit his 5th homer of the season in Wednesday's win over the Royals. He was also plunked by a pair of pitches, leading to another score. Willie Calhoun, who went 2-for-5 with a 2-run bomb in his 2019 debut on Wednesday, is moving to left field while Hunter Pence handles DH duties.
numberFire's models expect Choo to record 15 homers, 51 RBI, 63 runs scored, and 7 steals over the rest of the season.
