New York Mets catcher Tomas Nido is starting Sunday afternoon versus right-hander Mike Soroka and the Atlanta Braves in the final game of the regular season.
Nido is catching Noah Syndergaard and hitting eighth in Game 162. Rene Rivera is taking a seat after going 1-for-3 with a 2-run homer in a win over the Braves on Saturday.
