Mets' Yoenis Cespedes (ankle, heels) excited for start of season
New York Mets outfielder Yoenis Cespedes said on Saturday, "I know for certain now that I will be ready. I'm very excited for the season to start in two weeks."
After missing extended time with ankle and heel injuries, Cespedes is finally healthy enough to return. Look for the 34-year old to see most of his at-bats in the designated hitting spot this season.
Cespedes' yearly projection includes a .247 batting average with 6 home runs and 14 RBI in 90 total plate appearances.
