Mitch Garver on bench for Twins' Wednesday matinee
Minnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against right-hander Luis Castillo and the Cincinnati Reds.
Garver went 2-for-5 with a home run and 3 RBI on Tuesday, but it looks like the Twins are giving him the day off in Wednesday's matinee. Ryan Jeffers is catching for Charlie Barnes and batting eighth. Luis Arraez is in the cleanup spot Wednesday afternoon and Miguel Sano is batting fifth.
numberFire’s models project Jeffers for 7.9 FanDuel points and he has a $2,200 salary on Wednesday. Sano ($3,200) is expected to produce 14.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have an implied total of 3.9 runs. Castillo is registering a 23.0 strikeout percentage with a 10.1 walk percentage this season.
