Rhys Hoskins (groin) activated off Phillies' injured list, starting on Sunday
Philadelphia Phillies infielder Rhys Hoskins has been activated off the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Hoskins was on the shelf due to a groin injury, but he's ready to return to the team. He's getting the nod at first base while batting fifth in the order against San Diego Padres starter Craig Stammen. Alec Bohm was optioned to make room on the 26-man roster.
In 434 plate appearances this season, Hoskins has a .244 batting average with an .841 OPS, 24 home runs, 61 runs and 68 RBI.
