Kyle Seager (elbow) starting for Seattle Monday night
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager (elbow) is in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against left-hander Sean Manaea and the Oakland Athletics.
Seager was held out of the lineup Sunday against the Kansas City Royals due to right elbow soreness. He is back on the hot corner and hitting cleanup Monday. Dylan Moore is moving to left field in place of an idle Jake Fraley. Mitch Haniger is moving up a spot to bat third.
numberFire’s models project Seager for 10.0 FanDuel points and he has a $3,400 salary on Monday’s slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mariners have an implied total of 3.5 runs. Manaea is registering a 26.1 strikeout percentage and a 5.6 walk percentage this season, with a 4.17 xERA and a .311 xwOBA.
