The Oakland Athletics placed catcher/first baseman Stephen Vogt (knee) on the 10-day injured list.
What It Means:
Vogt has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his right knee and there is currently no timeline for his return. Seth Brown is starting on first base and batting cleanup in Thursday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Tyler Wells and the Baltimore Orioles. Sean Murphy is starting at catcher, with Austin Allen backing him up.
