Nick Plummer riding pine Wednesday for Mets

New York Mets outfielder Nick Plummer is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against right-hander Corbin Burnes and the Milwaukee Brewers.

What It Means:

Eduardo Escobar is taking over for Plummer at designated hitter while Luis Guillorme starts on the hot corner and hits eighth. Jeff McNeil is on second base and hitting fifth. Mark Canha is replacing Plummer in the lineup to play left field and bat seventh.

numberFire’s models project Canha for 8.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday, and he has a $2,600 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets have the fourth-lowest implied total (3.53) in the majors on Wednesday.
