Aaron Civale (glute) back in Guardians' rotation Tuesday
Cleveland Guardians right-handed pitcher Aaron Civale (glute) will start on Tuesday against the Minnesota Twins.
Civale is returning to the mound for the first time since being placed on the 15-day injured list May 25 with left glute soreness. Prior to landing on the shelf, the 27-year-old right-hander recorded a 7.84 ERA and 1.52 WHIP with 30 strikeouts and nine walks across 31 innings (seven starts). The Guardians optioned right-handed pitcher Nick Sandlin to Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding roster move.
numberFire's models project Civale for 23.9 FanDuel points on Tuesday and he has an $7,400 salary on the All Day slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins currently have the third-highest implied total (5.21) on the board.
