Matt Duffy (lower back) sitting for Angels Monday
The Los Angeles Dodgers did not list Matt Duffy (lower back tightness) in their lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox.
What It Means:
Duffy left in the fourth inning of the Angels' heated matchup against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday and was unable to return. He'll sit out Monday's game too while Andrew Velazquez starts at shortstop and bats ninth. Luis Rengifo will take over at third base.
The journeyman infielder has made 143 plate appearances with the Angels so far this season and is batting .261 with a .599 OPS.
