Robinson Cano making Braves debut Monday
Atlanta Braves infielder Robinson Cano is in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Max Scherzer and the New York Mets.
The Braves acquired Cano from the San Diego Padres on Sunday and they are starting him on second base and batting him ninth a day later. Cano is expected to be the lefty-hitter in a platoon at second base with Orlando Arcia.
numberFire’s models project Cano for 7.0 FanDuel points on Monday, and he has a $2,500 salary. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves’ implied total (3.65) is third-lowest out of the 14 available teams on the main slate.
