Robinson Cano absent from Atlanta Friday lineup
Atlanta Braves infielder Robinson Cano is not in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against left-hander Madison Bumgarner and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Cano started the past two games and he is 0-for-12 over his last five. Orlando Arcia will start on the Braves' keystone and bat eighth.
Arcia has a $2,500 salary on Friday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.1 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Braves’ implied total (4.95) is tied for seventh-highest in the majors on Friday.
