Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (thumb) is in the starting lineup for Friday's series opener against right-hander Bryse Wilson and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Phillies reinstated Harper from the 60-day injured list on Friday after he missed time with a thumb fracture. Harper will take over as the designated hitter and cleanup man in Friday's contest.
