Albert Almora absent from Reds' Wednesday lineup
Cincinnati Reds outfielder Albert Almora Jr. is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday versus right-hander Javier Assad and the Chicago Cubs.
Almora went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored on Tuesday in his first since August 19 due to a shoulder injury. He avoided a setback, but Almora will take a seat Wednesday while TJ Friedl returns to play center field and lead off the order.
Friedl is currently numberFire's third-best point-per-dollar value among hitters on Wednesday's Main slate. He has a $2,600 salary and numberFire’s models project him for 13.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds’ implied total (3.70) is No. 18 in the majors today.
