Miguel Cabrera (biceps) active, in Tigers' lineup Monday

Detroit Tigers designated hitter Miguel Cabrera (biceps) is in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Tyler Wells and the Baltimore Orioles.

What It Means:

Cabrera was activated from the 10-day injured list Monday after missing more than two weeks with a biceps injury. He will be the Tigers' designated hitter and cleanup man versus Wells and the Orioles. Javier Baez will be at shortstop and Ryan Kreidler will cover third base over an idle Jeimer Candelario. Spencer Torkelson will start on first base and bat fifth.

Miggy has a $2,000 salary on Monday and numberFire’s models project him for 9.0 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers’ implied total (3.57) is tied for No. 10 in the majors today out of 18 teams.
