Jonah Heim held out for Rangers in early game Tuesday
Texas Rangers catcher Jonah Heim is not in the starting lineup versus right-hander Jameson Taillon and the New York Yankees in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Kevin Plawecki will catch for Jon Gray and bat seventh. Heim figures to be back behind the dish for the second game of Tuesday's twin-bill.
Plawecki has a $4,000 salary on Tuesday's single-game slate and he is numberFire’s lowest-projected batter of the game at 5.4 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, Taillon's walk rate this season (4.3%) is tied for second-lowest among Tuesday's projected starters.
