Brandon Nimmo on Mets' bench Wednesday
New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season finale against right-hander Erick Fedde and the Washington Nationals.
Nimmo will yield center field to Terrance Gore and leadoff duties to Tyler Naquin as the Mets give a handful of regulars an extra day off ahead of the postseason.
Gore has a $2,000 salary and numberFire's models project him for 6.5 FanDuel points. Naquin is numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among batters on Wednesday. He has a $2,300 salary and our models project him for 13.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets' implied total (4.05) is tied for No. 8 in the majors today.
