Phillis' Rhys Hoskins (knee) to undergo ACL reconstruction surgery on Thursday
Philadelphia Phillies infielder Rhys Hoskins (knee) will undergo ACL reconstruction surgery on Thursday, March 30th.
Hoskins injured his knee during a spring training game last Thursday and is expected to miss the entire 2023 season. Hoskins will be a free agent in November. Darick Hall, Scott Kingery, and Kody Clemens could see more playing time this season with Hoskins sidelined.
In 672 plate appearances for the Phillies last season, Hoskins hit 0.246 with 30 homers, 81 runs, and 2 stolen bases.
