Rodolfo Castro sitting Friday for Pirates
Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Rodolfo Castro is not in the lineup versus right-hander Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks in Friday's series opener.
What It Means:
Castro will return to the bench while Ji Hwan Bae takes over on second base. Tucupita Marcano will also replace Chris Owings at shortstop and bat sixth. Ke'Bryan Hayes will start on the hot corner and hit fifth.
