Willie Calhoun (quad) sidelined Thursday for Yankees
New York Yankees utility player Willie Calhoun is not in the lineup for Thursday's series finale against right-hander Bryan Woo and the Seattle Mariners.
Gleyber Torres will shift to designated hitter after Calhoun started there on Wednesday. DJ LeMahieu will start on second base and bat leadoff.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Yankees' implied total is 3.69 and the game total is 7.5. Woo has a seemingly terrible 7.30 ERA through three starts in the majors, but a 2.60 xERA, 37.7% strikeout rate, and 3.8% walk rate suggests his ERA is a bit misleading.
