J.P. Crawford (knee) sidelined Wednesday afternoon for Mariners
Seattle Mariners infielder J.P. Crawford (knee) is not in the lineup on Wednesday afternoon against right-hander Joe Ryan and the Minnesota Twins.
Crawford is dealing with soreness after he fouled a ball off his knee in the top of the ninth inning on Tuesday against the Twins. Dylan Moore will cover shortstop on Wednesday and hit eighth. Julio Rodriguez will fill in as the leadoff batter and Eugenio Suarez will hit second, with Teoscar Hernandez working out of the three-hole and Mike Ford on cleanup duty.
